Anna, Thomas & Lucy | Family Mini Session

I was so happy to have a mini session with this beautiful family!  I have taken their photos several times over the years and they make it so easy.  The kids LOVE having their photos taken and have a lot of ideas of their own.  I actually don't think I've ever photographed kids who have loved it so much.  Ever.  

 This past weekend was so beautiful and the river was so calm, they had a perfect day for photos!  We started out on Brae Island and then, because it was super bright, we went to a new area in Fort Langley which I hadn't been to.  There is a new dock there with some colourful backgrounds.  Thank you for showing it to me, I love it!  Their desire was a good family shot and head shots of each kid and I think we got that no problem:)  Enjoy!

Rachel and Henk, it was so good to see your family again.  I can't believe how big the kids are getting!  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas (we're almost in December so I can say that, right?).

Olivia & Charlotte | Christmas Mini Session

This past weekend was sooooooo perfect for photos!  I love this family and was so happy to have the opportunity to do a mini session with these two girls.  I know their momma, Catherine, from our UBC days and I love seeing her personality come out in her daughters:)  They are both so friendly and chatted with me and little Charlie even held my hand.   Are these girls not so adorable? They were so good together, and seriously, always the cutest outfits.   Enjoy!

Madison | Christmas Mini Session

I met Maddie's mom, Christina, this spring at a women's group at our church.  They had moved here from the island and we hit it off right away as we are both teachers who are now home with our kids.  My son Koen was excited that Maddie was coming over for a mini session and they had a lot of fun playing afterwards.  I think he also may have appreciated that she brought him chocolate:)   Here are some Christmas-y pictures of sweet three year old Maddie with the cutest curls...

Lauren, Oliva and Claire | Mini Family Session

I feel like I haven't posted in so long!  I'm busy working on a wedding and in the midst of a bunch of mini sessions.  Here are just a couple of pictures of one of my very favourite families!  I have had the privilege of photographing them over the years and let's just say that they make my job VERY easy:)   We just a super mini session here in our neighbourhood and these are just a couple of the photos of a very beautiful and sweet family....

Braeden & Steven | Stewart Farms Family Session

These two brothers are adorable!!  The second that Braedon hopped out of the minivan, he was all smiles and wanting me to take his picture.  He also introduced me to his little brother as `Stevie Baby'.  It was cold but they did so well.  There may have been a promise of some candy and I'm thinking they like their candy:)   Dayna and Suki, it was great to meet you and I'm so glad that the weather behaved for us.    You have such a beautiful family!  Enjoy.

Baby Tate | Newborn Photos

Here are some pictures of Christine and Dan's beautiful son, Tate.  He is SO cute and so laid back.  He is also such a miracle but that is their story to share.  We spent some time together last weekend, just capturing Tate at about a week old.  He is their `Little Pumpkin', and their dog, Honey, seems to love Tate a whole lot too:)
