Emily and Stephen: Wedding Day

What a joy it was to photograph these guys! They were so fun, unique and easy going. The day was just so...them. The wedding party was fantastic and so were the cupcakes:) There were so many wonderful (and a lot of funny) pictures and here are just a few. My favourites are the ones where they are bare foot on the beach. Gary's a fan of the guys giant group hug. Congratulations Emily and Stephen!
Check out Emily's beautiful veil, she made it herself!

Lauren, Olivia & Claire

I had a very mini photo session with these three adorable girls. Their mom wanted just a few individual head shots of each girl and so there are a few below. I've known these girls for a few years and they are such lovely girls, inside and out. Aren't they so cute?!

Hendrik and Lisa: Engagement Photos

I've known Hendrik and Lisa for as long as they've known each other! They met in grade 9, when I was their science teacher, which makes me feel old:) This weekend, we met up at the New Westminster Quay and it was pouring. Hard. I even got to try out my umbrella hat which is really as nerdy as it sounds. Fortunately, after 15 minutes, the rain disappeared (along with one umbrella which someone, uh, borrowed. We got it back.). We found a very fun wall, which they proceeded to climb. They also have a fun party trick, which you can see towards the ends of the photos (under the umbrella photo)...I wonder if Lisa could do that in her wedding dress....

Sarah's Maternity Photos

Sarah was given the gift of a mini maternity session and here she is looking fabulous at about 36 weeks! Big brother Braedon was really into getting his photo taken, especially with the baby belly, and it was hard to get him OUT of some shots:) Fort Langley was lovely and so was this family. I LOVE the first and fourth pictures (the close ups of the belly). Congratulations you guys, I can't wait to hear if Braedon has a baby brother or a sister!

Emily and Stephen: Sneak Peek

I just wanted to post a few pictures from the beautiful wedding we did this weekend. Make sure you check back later in the week as we even got some lovely beach shots...in March!!

Risha

To celebrate their daughter's birthday, Taralee and Chris planned a family photo shoot. Gramma even came along! I love the long dried grass at Campbell Valley right now and the weather was so perfect once again! Risha is at the age where she is just go, go, go and we just had to chase, chase, chase. So, here are some pictures of us chasing Risha around! I hope you have a wonderful year being two!

Trish and Steve: Wedding Day

On March 6th we had a different kind of wedding...it was my baby sister's big day! Three things to point out:
1. My sister is wearing my mom's old veil which had been dyed and cut. Oh ya, my mom had a HUGE daisy headpiece that went with it, not sure why Trish didn't want that part:)
2. Check out Trish and Janna's faces when Steve is signing the marriage license. It's like, `Make sure he does it...he's signing! It's going to be official!'.
3. Steve had smashed his hand 2 days before the wedding in a work place accident. He was unable to get his ring past his knuckle and his knuckles were, uh, needing to be photoshopped. I did leave a few picture with it:)
4. Has there ever been nicer weather on March 6th? Wowee, it was beautiful.
Okay. Enjoy. Congratulations you two, I hope that you're having a blast in Hawaii!

Trish and Steve: Sneak Peek

My littlest sister got married last weekend. It was a beautiful day and as you can see below, she was a beautiful bride. I just thought I would post one picture while I'm working on all the rest of them. Congratulations Trish and Steve!!

The Gift of Family

Family is truly a gift. Trish, the beautiful mother of 3, was given this photo shoot in order to celebrate her family. What a thoughtful and memorable gift! We met at Derby Reach on a chilly, yet clear, morning. The kids were adorable and they were so happy to have their grandparents there with them. You guys have such a lovely family, it was so nice to see how you all interacted together. Lots and lots of love!!
