Caden, Cole & Brady | Surrey Family Mini Session

My friends Ali & Joel recently moved away, so when they returned for a visit, we met up to chat and take just a head shot of each kid and a family photo.  I've been photographing these kiddos since Caden's birth so we have a tad bit of history.  We actually took these photos at the school where Ali and I met!  This is what 15 minutes and 3 energetic boys gets you :)

So great to see you , Team K!

Love, Louise
Love that last sneaky one of Brady :)

Fall Family Photos | Tynehead Park Surrey

I loved this session.  The leaves, the weather, the CUTE kids who rarely stop smiling, and the AMAZING costumes that super mom made (seriously, wait until you see them!).  I first photographed Cam & Karen when Kirra turned two.  It was one of my favourites at the time and you can see it here.

You know how the say to end on a high note?  Well, this was the last family session for me for a while.  I'm not sure what our 2015 is going to look like so we're just accepting a few weddings a year at this point.  I could possibly have spring/summer/fall mini session dates (and if I did, I think the fall one would be PERFECT here at Tynehead Park!).    It was so great to finish with such a lovely, beautiful, and kind family in such a gorgeous setting.  So bittersweet for me.

Thank you to all of the families over the last SEVEN years who have asked us to capture their family photos.  We are so thankful and grateful and appreciative.  You have trusted me.  You have given me the opportunity to stay home with my children a whole lot more.  You have helped to provide an income when I was unable to teach due to my autoimmune disease (now in remission, phew!).  Thank you.

Okay, are you ready for a really, super cute session?!!  Enjoy :)
Thank you Cam, Karen, Kirra and Tyler for having me capture your awesomeness one more time.  I loved it!

Love,
Louise

Davis | Fall Family Photos

It was a foggy fall morning at Redwood Park when I met up with Mike, Leslie and 18 month old Davis. I met Mike during my first year at U.B.C., half my lifetime ago, so it was so great to catch up and meet his family.  We spent most of the time chasing Davis around and I think there are some great family photos in here.  I LOVE this age...they're just little explorers and I find them hilarious.

Enjoy!
Run, Davis, Run!
Great to see you Mike & Leslie.

Love,
Louise

Lucy Turns One | Stewart Farm Mini Session

First of all, thank you to all of you for your kind comments on our facebook page.  Yes, we are taking a break from family sessions and I LOVE hearing how much you treasure your family photos.  Thank you.

One of my last sessions was with this special little family.  I first photographed big sister Claire when she turned one, and now,  here we are a few years later capturing baby Lucy's 1st birthday!  Adorable.  Her smile. Her hair.  Her family's great love for her.

I love that it still feels summery out there.  Here is our mini session at Stewart Farm, such an ideal location!

Love you G family!

Louise

Daniel & Zachary | Stewart Farm Family Photos

These adorable boys, Daniel and Zachary, are friends with my son Kai.   How cute are they together?!  Wait until you see them on the dock.  We met up at Stewart Farm on a beautiful summer evening and it was great to hang out together and catch up on our summers!  I think the boys were probably hoping I'd bring Kai but I'm not sure how helpful he would be in this situation.  Looking forward to another great school year together.  Here is their mini session!  Enjoy.

Louise

Addison & Jacob | Fort Langley Family Photos

Kelsey and Spenser were visiting from Alberta and booked a family session during that time.  I first photographed them last year in an extended family session.  Their kids are getting so big now, aren't they adorable?!  It was a super bright day so we hit up the local shady spots and I think they worked really well.

Thank you for having me take your photos.  Addison and Jacob, I hope you enjoyed your Menchies!

Love,
Louise
