A. Living here in B.C., you never know what you are going to get! I would encourage you to go ahead with your session if there is light rain. There are many locations that have undercover areas (Fort Langley, Ellwood Park, your home!) and we can use umbrellas too. I want you to be happy, so if it is not your (or your kids) ideal weather, we can try to reschedule a date within 2 weeks of your original one.
Q. What should we wear?
A. It is generally best to choose 2-3 colours that go well together and make that your theme. It is fine if you have a few patterns in there but I would recommend that the majority of the family have solid colours. Layers are great because then you can have a varied look. Feel free to bring outfit changes, especially for the little ones. It looks great if you can add a pop of colour with a headband/scarf/necklace/hat for some of the photos as well. Here are just a few ideas from past sessions:
A. I leave it up to you. If you have a particular backdrop that you are looking for, I can give you several suggestions. Pick a place that is really `you'. Here on the blog, there is a list of various locations and it has samples of all of the photos taken there, take a look!
Q. When do I pay you?
A. The payment is due at the session. You can pay in cash or by cheque (made out to GC Photography)
Q. What should I do to prepare?
A. I would recommend picking your outfit(s) a week ahead of time to avoid any stress:) Also, make sure everyone's hands/nails are clean and moisturized as people often forget that they will be in the photos!
