Kenzie Turns One | Cake Smash

My littlest niece is turning one in a few weeks. I love having these little ones around and by having 4 sisters, there's pretty much always another one on the way! We had a little Cake Smash which was really just an `Icing Tasting':) There were two siblings and two cousins eagerly watching the whole thing to make sure that the cake would be intact enough for them to eat. So, no wasted cake here, just a sugar high play date amongst cousins!

Happy first birthday Kenzie Benzie. You are so loved!

Jessica & Steve | Wedding Photos

I love outdoor weddings and this one was extra special as it took place in Steve's parents back yard. Jessica and Steve had their `first look' before the ceremony and it was emotional! Steve actually shed a tear or two and couldn't stop saying how beautiful Jessica, and her dress, were:)

The ceremony involved their dog and two flower girls. And that little dog? See what she did while pulling the girls down the aisle...Enjoy.

{The emotional first look. I think it's how every bride hopes their groom responds to seeing them....)}

{We were then off to Fort Langley for the remainder of the photos.}

{Love the backlit one below!}

{In order for the couple to kiss, money was donated to the Cancer Society. The top kiss shows what you get for a regular donation. The bottom one shows what sort of kiss they had for the biggest donation. Haven't seen that at a reception before:)}

All the best to you two as you continue on in your relationship as husband and wife! Steve, I loved your reaction to seeing Jessica for the first time. It showed just how much you love and support her and how important she is to you.
Congratulations!

Noah | Newborn Baby Session

In the middle of a sea of weddings, it felt so great to have a newborn session! Baby Noah took his sweet time arriving which ended up working perfectly for me as we had been on holidays:) I visited Carolyn and Matt's home this past weekend to take capture life for their family with a 6 day old, beautiful, big, baby boy. Noah decided he enjoyed the camera clicking and fell asleep for good as I was leaving. Enjoy these newborn moments, I like 'em:) Doesn't the hand photo below make you smile?
{The picture below is a bit funny, but for the first 10 minutes, he just stared at me like `What are you doing, lady?' So cute:)}

{My favourite might be the one above.}

Matt and Carolyn, congratulations! Welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood. May the coming days, months and years be more amazing than you ever imagined.

Nick & Alexis | Whonnock Lake Wedding Photos

Gorgeous location and such a wonderful couple. Alexis was nervous about actually being in front of everyone while Nick loved being the star of the show. Together they were so sweet and supportive of one another. I love Whonnock Lake and I love the colour purple. It was a wonderful day and truly fun to edit these photos. Enjoy!

{The outdoor location there is beautiful right next to the dock. So picturesque!}
{Alexis was emotional coming down the aisle and it was beautiful. I feel a bit mean saying it but I do love a few tears:)}

{I like how dad placed their hands together...}

{All of the guests blew bubbles as the couple left, and boy, were those good bubbles! Loved it.}
{Right away, the wedding party went out on the dock where the maid of honour gave a toast. Great idea!}

{Can you pick a favourite photo above? Or even a favourite spot? I like SO many of them!}
{The reception had some beautiful (purple!) decor and please note the special personalized Bobble heads below. Haven't seen that before!}

{Nick and Alexis, we had a great time and were happy to be part of your day. Look how photogenic you two are! Beautiful. Congratulations once again!}
