This weekend we helped celebrate Angie and Steve's big day. The majority of photos were taken at Queen Elizabeth Park, and wow, was it ever looking gorgeous there! Here is just a little sneak peek of the lovely couple. Congratulations Angie and Steve!!

Baby Jack
I became an auntie for the 14th time just a couple of weeks ago...it never gets old:) I thought I would post some pictures here while I'm working on wedding photos this week.
My sister Jan had a successful VBAC (yahoo!) and welcomed 8lb Jack Lucas on his due date. He did end up having to stay in the NICU for almost a week as he had an infection but all are doing well now. Here are just a few photos from his first couple weeks of life...
{The ones below are at 10 days old}
Love you Little Jack! Glad you are home now safe and sound. Your little cousin should be here in about a month!

Ben & Jacob | Fort Langley Family Photos
This was my last family session before our baby comes (we still have three weddings) and it was a good one. I met Anita and Jon just over a year ago for their maternity pictures while pregnant with Jacob and then we've stayed in touch and our kids have played together too. Anita is also a photographer and so the priority was to get a good family photo and photos that included Anita in them. I know what that's all about as I love getting our family photos taken by someone else because it's nearly impossible for Gary and I to take our own with the remote trigger. Well, it's possible but too stressful:)
Here are some pictures from our time together along the Fort to Fort Trail in Fort Langley. The kids did a great job, the sun was out, Jon has a perfect smile in every photo I took (seriously, I don't think he blinks!) and Anita had chosen some great outfits for them all. I don't know which location of the three I like the most so I'm glad we did all three:) Enjoy!

Lynn Canyon Family Session
Lynn Canyon is a gorgeous location with all the greenery, water and rocks. I love it! Tiffany also loved it and suggested it as her location choice for their family photos. The priority was a good full family shot and I think we got more than enough of those!
Brooklyn did a fabulous job hiking to the spot and enjoyed the adventure across the bridge. Brennan was fascinated with everything around him and was so quick to smile. Here is a super adorable family....enjoy!
PS Thanks to Gary for coming along as I wasn't sure how a nearly 8 month pregnant woman (me!) would do scrambling over rocks:)
Tiffany and Colin, it was great to meet your family! I'm glad Brooklyn got to do a little fishing:)

Stewart Farms Extended Family Session
Last weekend was GORGEOUS which made celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary even better. The kids gifted their parents this session for their anniversary which I always think is wonderful idea. Stewart Farms was actually a little busy with all the kids hunting for Easter Eggs but it worked out well by providing shade in the bright afternoon sun. You might remember Shawna and Ryan from their engagement session in 2010, it was good to see them again!
Extended family sessions are always a bit more posed/portait-ish and the kids behaved so well for it:) I love the variety of sessions that I get to do, from maternity to families to weddings. Keeps it fun! Enjoy!
Murray and Sue, congratulations on your 40th wedding anniversary! You have a beautiful family and a very cute dog:)

Abbotsford Spring Wedding
What a beautiful day!! It was so great to see the sun and this happy couple was ear to ear smiles all day. We were just asked to photograph about three hours of the day (the ceremony and portraits) so it was a busy but short day for us. Did I mention that it was sunny?! Did I mention that the couple was non stop smiling?! Win win. Here are some photos of the lovely bride and groom....
{Before the ceremony I was able to get a few shots of the bride and the girls hanging out....such beautiful ladies. Also, I'm a huge fan of purple so I loved their bouquets!}
{After the ceremony, we went to Ellwood Park for family photos. It's a great spot because it has a covered area just in case:)}
Thank you for having us capture part of the day with you! We had a great time and enjoyed getting to know you two. We hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and all the best to you in the years to come!
