Sean & Rachael's Engagement Photos

Sean & Rachael braved the rain and it ended up working really well. That's the problem with BC weather, you never know what you are going to get! They decided on having their engagement photos done at Campbell Valley Park and fortunately there were a lot of under cover areas. The last set of pictures in this group is one of my favourites yet! Sean & Rachael have been dating for 6 years and will be getting married in just 6 weeks. Please note how cute Rachael's hair is...makes me realize that I should do something other than a ponytail some time:)

{Rachael, I would say that half of the pictures have you laughing at something Sean has said. Awesome.}

{They also brought a mustang convertible for their photos but I'm not posting them here. They are going to have a snazzy car on their wedding day too which I'm excited about!}

{I love the set below. You know how couples all have `their thing'. Well, for these guys, it's pinky swearing:) For Gary and I, it's that we can both touch our tongue to our noses. I love the other photo of them against the tree and the meadow in the background. And the bottom one is my favourite; the brown wood, Rachael's eyes, Sean being sweet....I love it!!!

We're looking forward to the big day and we'll see you two soon!

Julie-Ann and Thomas: Wedding Day

What a beautiful day. I love how each wedding has it's own personality to keep it interesting for us! The theme of the day was pure excitement. Julie-Ann said, `I'm so excited!' about 50 times while I was taking photos of them getting ready:) This wedding wins two awards and they are; `The Most Excited Bride' and `The Super Smiley Couple'. Here we go....

{Julie-Ann joked that she chose her bridesmaids just because they were so beautiful. Aren't they though? Check out the excited face below.}

{Signing the guest book....people often use their engagement photos to make a guest book. I highly recommend it!!}

{The moment above, where dad and bride are about to walk down the aisle, is usually when the bride is the most nervous. I know that is what was hardest for me! You will now see why they win `The Super Smiley Couple' award....}

{After the receiving line and a standing reception, we went off to Ellwood Park in Abbotsford.}

{The wedding party was full of ideas, some were very random like the guys two shots down....}

{Apparently Julie-Ann and Thomas were making their wedding party a little tired of all the kissy business.}

{And then it was off to the reception where the dads were the emcees! Check out how hard the girls are laughing while the groomsman (ex-roommate) gives his speech.}

Congratulations Julie-Ann and Thomas. We loved being a part of your day and we're really happy for you two. We hope you are having a wonderful time on your honeymoon and I'm sure we'll see you around!

Julie-Ann and Thomas: Sneak Peek

I am now delving into this wonderful wedding and I thought I would just share a couple of pictures. If you haven't read my previous post, each wedding gets an award (last one got `My Favourite Dress'). I already know which 2 awards this one is getting...but you'll have to come back and find out:) Check out their smiles as they look at each other, they were like this all day long!

Kimberly & Tyler: Wedding Day

We had a great time taking pictures of these two on their wedding day. Kimberly was so excited to be getting her hair done because she was the bride this time! Kim is usually the one doing the bride's hair for weddings and we've done a bunch together. I also know Kim for another reason, she is yet another student that I taught way back in grade 9! I don't want to insult any other brides but I just need to say that Kim wins the category of `My Favourite Dress'. I loved it. I will be giving random awards for each wedding from now on:) Okay, enough of an intro, let's get to the pictures!!

{They actually got their dresses on in the room at the Chateau Cargill, where the ceremony was. Totally cute (and warm) room}

{Check out the grand entrance below! She met her dad at the bottom of the stairs. I also love the idea of rose petals lining the aisle, rather than scattered all over.}

{Kimberly and Tyler wanted to go to two different locations for their formal photos. The sun was super bright which always makes things challenging but at least it wasn't raining!! First off...Crescent Beach. Check out that beautiful bouquet!}

Kimberly & Tyler: Sneak Peek #2

I said I would post another sneak peek, so here we go! I'll be honest, I'm saving all the gooders for after the long weekend because people don't check blogs as often on these days:) I hope you all have a fabulous long weekend!!

Baby Charlotte

Just a little mini session with a super cute 2 week old and her energetic, adorable, big sister. Both girls did wonderfully and next time I'll have to get some with their mom and dad:) Look at that hair...so cute! My kids were bald until well...Koen still is. Congratulations on the arrival of baby Charlotte, she is such a sweetie.

Kimberly & Tyler: Sneak Peek #1

Okay, so this isn't a good sneak peek in regards to wedding photos but I like it. I will post a better sneak peak tomorrow okay? (**Upadated: no sneak peek until Friday at least!**) These are three girls that I taught back in grade 9 science (okay, not Lynn but Gary taught her) and I loved being part of their big day:) Aren't they lovely?
