Shannon & Edwin | Green Timbers Park

Shannon & Edwin's engagement session was at Green Timbers Park in Surrey.  This beautiful park is where they had their first date and where Edwin proposed (it was on the bench that you'll see).  I've known Shannon for years as I taught her and now follow her through her blog. She is the sweetest girl/woman and I'm so happy that these two found each other and I'm looking forward to spending a whole day with them in July!

Congratulations Shannon & Edwin!
Love,
Louise & Gary.

Katrina & Brayden | Surrey Wedding Photos

From start to finish, Katrina just kept saying `I'm so happy!'.  Even when she was crying (happy tears!) and freezing throughout the day, she just kept saying, `I'm so happy!'.  Katrina and Brayden are such a great couple.  They are loving and giving and know how to have fun.   I taught Katrina, and over half her bridal party, back in grade 8 which made this one a little extra special for me.  Spending a day with a couple, you get to see the ones that make up their community and support system.  Let me tell you, these two have such a wonderful and encouraging community surrounding them and are very loved.  Great family and friends.  They even had all eight grandparents there in attendance to support them.

Being that it was the first weekend in January, it was very cold, but it did not rain.  The wedding party came with great attitudes and it went so well.   I LOVED Katrina's dress with the lace straps and I loved how organized she was...I won't mention about the last minute garter purchase or quick drive back home to get the bouquets:)  The boys were awesome with their tie tying antics...Gary said it took about 1.5 hours:)   There are probably way too many pictures here but I just want you to get an idea of their entire day.  Enjoy!
{I love this shot below.  We will be photographing Elissa's wedding in May!}
{The guys probably used three sources to tie their ties; a book, the internet and finally, the groom's dad:)}
{A gift for the groom;  the German bird cuff links.}
{As soon as Katrina hugged the mother of the groom, the tears started.  They didn't really stop until the end of the receiving line an hour later.  Happy tears make me smile.}
{Family and wedding party photos were done at Green Timbers Park in Surrey.}
Congratulations Katrina and Brayden!! Thank you for having us capture your big day.  I loved being able to attend the reception as a guest and I wish you all the best in your lives together as husband and wife!
Love, Louise and Gary
