I think we caught the last wonderful day of October and Campbell Valley Park was looking amazing. I taught Julie-Ann way back in the day and Gary coaches her brother in basketball, so, there are some great connections. It was a great chance to get to know Thomas and see these guys together. They will be getting married next May which is definitely a popular month to get married in 2010! Congratulations you guys!
All the best to you two as you prepare for your lives together!

Lisa and Tim's Wedding Day
On a beautiful fall afternoon, Lisa and Tim celebrated their special day. They had their photos taken before the ceremony which is always a little more relaxing and it's nice to be able to capture that moment when they first see eachother. The fall leaves were absolutely amazing and the sky was super blue. You never would've known there was a huge rainstorm the night before. Whenever you photograph a wedding, you feel so connected to the couple. You are following them, the entire day, throughout one of the most important days of their lives. I was just so happy for these guys that they found eachother and we are wishing them a lifetime of happiness together! Here are some pictures from throughout the day....

Kim and Tyler's Engagement Shoot
I'm loving these fall colours and you'll see the evidence of it in this engagement shoot. We went to Fort Langley and made our way from the community hall down to Brae Island. What a beautiful afternoon it was! Kim and Tyler will be getting married next May and we're really excited to be their photographers. These guys are a sweet, young couple that met playing volleyball. You just never know where you'll meet the person you're meant to be with forever! Here are just a few of the photos from our time together....
You see this bottom picture on the left? That is the spot where he proposed! Congratulations!

Jack & Joanne's Wedding Day
This wedding was different in so many ways. Gary took 90% of the pictures because I was busy taking care of the kids and being in pictures myself. This was the commitment ceremony for my dad and his new wife Joanne. I hope that my dad has as many years of happiness with Joanne as he did with my mother (she passed away 3 years ago). Joanne's 2 daughters walked her down the aisle while my dad's 5 daughters stood up front for him. Yes, that's 7 girls within 8 years of age.
Watching the slideshow (below). My dad and Joanne had actually dated when they were 15 years old and she knew my mom growing up too.
The flower girls and `ring' bearer (really bearing cars and mini lawnmowers) did a wonderful job. That beautiful boy is my son, Kai.
Congratulations Dad and Joanne!

Kyle and Keterah's Engagement Photos
We met Kyle & Keterah at Williams Park for their engagement shoot this past weekend. I always forget how dark it is there, but we managed to have enough light to capture some great images. We had the opportunity to take pictures of these guys on their motorbike so that was fun and unique! Kyle & Keterah will be getting married in February at Whonnock Lake and we are looking forward to it!
See you guys in a few months!
