Megan & Patrick | South Surrey Wedding Photos

What a beautiful day! Megan and Patrick were such an easy going bride and groom. Up for anything, happy with everything:) We didn't have an engagement session together, so it always takes a minute or two to figure out how they are together as a couple. Right away we realized how easy it would be as they were just super comfortable in front of the camera and with each other.

I met with Megan at the ID Salon in Fort Langley. The salon owner, Beeuwke, is actually the one that recommended us as she had done one of our brides, Rachael's, hair last year. Megan got all prettied up and then we went to the Chateau Cargill for the rest of the getting ready pictures with her bridesmaids.

{Megan was a little nervous, and really, what bride isn't?! Megan, you looked beautiful! They were able to have an outdoor ceremony (which I love!). Beautiful, n'est pas?

{I love all the wire with the bouquet, I haven't seen that before.}

{We did the family photos right outside the Chateau Cargill which is such a pretty location. Then, it was off to Stewart Farms and Crescent Beach.}

{I don't know if it's the weather, or the couple, or the pink, but I just feel like so many of the photos below scream `Romance!!'.}

{Then it was down to Crescent Beach for a few photos. We stopped at the railroad tracks for 5 minutes and I'm glad we did!}
{The clouds in the sky were perfect and because it was cloudy, there were fewer people at the beach:)}
{See, so romantic!}

{Then, it was back to the Chateau Cargill for the reception....}
{Editing these pictures just made me want to eat cupcakes. Gary said they tasted great:)}

Congratulations Patrick and Megan! We had a great time hanging out with you two and your wedding party! You were so easy to photograph and had no problem kissing once or twice or a hundred times:) All the best to you in the years to come!

Cousin Mini Session | Fort Langley Photos

Last year I did an extended family session which included these two families. This year, they just wanted to have a few updated family photos and a picture of each kid. So, we had a mini session and here are a few of what we got:) Cuteness, eh?

{Love the shot of brother and sister above!! They were so cute together.}

There are way more photos that I could share but each family sort of had photos in the same place so it would be a bit repetitive. Two good looking families, that's for sure! Good to see you all again and I'm so glad we actually had summery weather!!

Megan & Patrick | Wedding Sneak Peek

Megan and Patrick had a beautiful wedding in South Surrey last Friday. Here is just a sneak peek of a couple of photos while I work away on the rest:)

Little Update

Hey everyone, hopefully you found this website!  You can reach it at www.gc-photography.co or www.gc-photography.blogspot.com.  Our gc-photography.net account expired without our knowledge (grrrrr) so we now have this one.  In the meantime, all the links under categories and locations won't be working until I have time to update them all.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for checking us out!

Matt & Stephanie | Granville Island Engagement Session

Matt and Stephanie will be getting married this October and I love a good fall wedding! They wanted their engagement session down at Granville Island which is one of my favourite places to go. Gary and I are actually having OUR photos done there next week (so excited!!). These two have been together for over two years and are actually celebrating their birthdays this week. Happy birthday Matt and Stephanie!

We moved our session up an hour because it was looking pretty cloudy and I'm glad we did. The rain came just over half way through but they did such a good job with it. Here are some photos of our time together...
{Aren't they so cute?!}

Congratulations on your engagement and I hope the wedding planning goes smoothly:) See you in a few more months!

Caleb & Christine | Langley Wedding Photos

Each wedding has it's own feel to it and I love that because it keeps things interesting! When we met with Caleb and Christine last year, we knew we wanted to do their wedding because they were such a sweet and laid back couple. They had a more traditional wedding planned, but Caleb's family added a little mischievousness to the day:) I taught Caleb years ago (and his brothers!),and again, always so fun to capture a past students big day.

Enjoy.

{We actually did the formal photos before the ceremony, so below is where they had their `first look'. Campbell Valley seems to be such a popular location for wedding photos so a lot of them might look similar to past weddings, however, this location works so well!}
{Family photos were done here as well...}

{Love the black and white above:)}
{You can tell which bridesmaid is his sister!}

{Congratulations you two. I hope the day was all you dreamed it would be, we had fun! What a gift marriage is, enjoy it! }
